Description: Data are collected by citizen scientists across North America and in many other countries. Scientists at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology use the data to answer scientific questions about urban birds. Anyone can participate in the projects. First, you choose the type of bird you want to watch. Then, find a place to count and watch the birds. The data you send are used to understand how birds live in cities. Different programs: Birds in the City, Crow Count, Dove Detectives, PigeonWatch, Gulls Galore. Cost: FREE.
